- Document Data: Personal documents you upload for analysis (Premium and Pro users only)
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and access times
- Cookies: Session cookies for authentication and analytics cookies for service improvement
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the SeyLegal service
- Process your questions and provide legal information
- Manage your account and subscription
- Improve our AI models and service quality
- Send important service updates and notifications
- Prevent fraud and ensure platform security

3. Who We Share Data With
We share your information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (database hosting), OpenAI (embeddings), and Anthropic (AI responses)

We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties. We do NOT share your questions or documents with other users.

- Uploaded Documents: Deleted within 90 days of account deletion
- Security Logs: Retained for 12 months
After you delete your account, personal data is permanently deleted within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.

SeyLegal uses cookies and similar technologies to:
- Essential Cookies: Required for authentication and core functionality (cannot be disabled)
- Analytics Cookies: Used to understand how users interact with the platform
- Guest Tracking: Anonymous identifier stored locally to track free tier usage for non-registered users
